This can be played either with past and future time clauses.
Prepare cards. Choose two different colors for the cards. Say pink and yellow. On pink cards, write an activity such as wash the dishes, make the bed, etc.
On yellow cards write a conjunction that is used in time clauses.
Divide the class into two.
Explain the students that they have to choose two pink cards and a yellow card and make a correct sentence.
Draw a tic-tac-toe grid on the board and play the game.
Alternatively you can pass the pink cards and ask your students to write activities on the cards.

I think this is a great game especially for younger children. It will make them think and it sounds fun putting together the different sentences!
I am adding a “comma” card, so they practice when to and when not to use commas.
