There’s something about feeling the warmth of the sun on our faces that reminds us we are not just teachers.
This time of year is full. Reports, assessments, end-of-year everything. The to-do list never quite ends. But it’s precisely now, in the busy final stretch, that we need to remember ourselves the most.
So one small thing can help us continue. A walk. A song. A book. A moment of stillness.
We deserve to finish this year feeling better. Here are a few things I’ll try to do this May — and maybe you can choose a few of them too.
