A Small Milestone: My Article in the TESOL-SPAIN ELT Journal

Creative Activities in Busy ELT Classrooms: From Coursebook Images to Classroom Interaction
As you know, this year in March, I attended TESOL Spain 49th Annual National Convention and now I’m delighted to share that my article “Creative Activities in Busy ELT Classrooms: From Coursebook Images to Classroom Interaction” has been published in the TESOL-SPAIN ELT Journal, Volume 3 — Spring 2026.
The theme of this volume is “Shaping Understanding”, a topic close to my heart as both a teacher and a teacher trainer. My article explores how coursebook images can be used as a springboard for meaningful classroom interaction, something I’ve been experimenting with for years.
You can read the full journal here.
I’d love to hear your thoughts if you get a chance to read it.
